Zoološki vrt Grada Zagreba međunarodnim studentima pruža priliku za stjecanje stručnog iskustva kroz strukturirani program stručne prakse u području skrbi o životinjama, njihove dobrobiti i primijenjenog praćenja ponašanja. Program objedinjuje svakodnevni praktični rad uz mentorstvo naših djelatnika s jasno definiranim ishodima učenja, omogućujući studentima razvoj stručnih kompetencija u stvarnom radnom okruženju.
Erasmus+ student mobility for traineeships – Zagreb Zoo
Zagreb Zoo offers international students the opportunity to gain professional experience through a structured internship programme focused on animal husbandry, animal welfare, and applied behavioural monitoring. The programme combines daily practical work with the guidance of experienced mentors and clearly defined learning outcomes, enabling students to develop professional competences in a real-life working environment.
Erasmus+ Traineeship – Participants’ Experiences
Through the Erasmus+ programme, students from across Europe undertake traineeships at Zagreb Zoo, where they gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience while working alongside our professional staff. Please note that Zagreb Zoo is able to accept international students exclusively within the framework of the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Traineeships programme. As a Receiving Organisation, we are happy to provide professional guidance, mentoring, supervision and the necessary equipment during the traineeship. However, we are unfortunately not able to provide financial support, scholarships or accommodation for incoming students. Therefore, the traineeship needs to be organised through an Erasmus+ partnership between the sending institution and Zagreb Zoo, including the completion of the Learning Agreement for Traineeships and the funding application by the sending organisation.
Our Internship Programme provides detailed information about the practical training, learning outcomes, behavioural assignment and final assessment. If you are interested in completing your Erasmus+ traineeship at Zagreb Zoo, we kindly ask you to:
- complete one of the attached tasks according to your interests and submit your response;
- submit your CV and motivation letter;
- review the internship syllabus in detail;
- consider whether this programme matches your expectations and learning goals.
Once we receive your completed task and application documents, we will review your submission, confirm the final selection, and you will be able to plan your traineeship at Zagreb Zoo accordingly.
